List of products that must undergo energy labeling according to the latest regulations Decision No. 14/2023/QD-TTg
Decision No. 14/2023/QD-TTg of May 24, 2023 of the Prime Minister promulgated the list and road map of vehicles, energy-intensive equipment must be removed and low-performance power plants are not newly constructed. Official Dispatch No. 7750/BCT-TKNL dated November 3, 2023 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the List of Vietnamese standards applicable to performance testing and energy labeling
List and roadmap for applying energy labeling together with applicable standards:
1. Household appliance group:
- Compact fluorescent lamp: TCVN 7896:2015;
- Electronic ballasts for fluorescent lamps: TCVN 7897:2013;
- Electromagnetic ballasts for fluorescent lamps: TCVN 8248:2013;
- Straight tube fluorescent lamp: TCVN 8249:2013;
- Electric fans: TCVN 7826:2015;
- Household washing machines: TCVN 8526:2013;
- Rice cooker: TCVN 8252:2015
- LED lights TCVN: 11844:2017
- Infrared stove TCVN 13373:2021; Induction cooker TCVN 13372:2021; (applicable date from April 1, 2025);
- Refrigerator, refrigerator-freezer: TCVN 7828:2013 (applicable period from the effective date of this decision until March 31, 2025); TCVN 7828:2016 (applicable date from April 1, 2025);
- Storage water heater TCVN 7898:2009 (application period from the effective date of this decision until March 31, 2025), TCVN 7898:2018 (application period from April 1, 2025 );
- Ductless air conditioners TCVN 7830:2015 (applicable period from the effective date of this decision until March 31, 2025), TCVN 7830:2021 (applicable period from April 1, 2025) 2025);
- Television cameras TCVN 9536:2012 (application period from the effective date of this Decision until March 31, 2025), TCVN 9536:2021 (application period from April 1, 2025).
2. Office and commercial equipment group:
- Photocopier TCVN 9510:2012;
- Printer TCVN 9509:2012;
- Computer screen TCVN 9508:2012;
- Commercial refrigerators TCVN 10289:2014
- Laptops TCVN 11848:2017 (application period from the effective date of this Decision until March 31, 2025), TCVN 11848:2021 (application period from April 1, 2025);
- TCVN 13371:2021 desktop computers (applicable from April 1, 2025).
3. Industrial equipment group:
- Three-phase squirrel cage rotor asynchronous electric motor TCVN 7540-1:2013;
- Distribution transformers TCVN 8525:2015
- LED electric lights for road and street lighting TCVN 12666:2019 (applicable date from April 1, 2025);
- Boilers in industrial enterprises TCVN 8630:2010 (application period from the effective date of this decision until March 31, 2025); TCVN 8630:2019 (applied from April 1, 2025).
Note: From April 1, 2025, products Refrigerators, freezers, coolers, storage water heaters, ductless air conditioners, televisions, laptops, and boilers in industrial enterprises carry out testing and evaluation of energy efficiency according to new standards to register for energy labeling announcement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
