Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BTTTT: Regulating the List of potentially unsafe products and goods under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Information and Communications
On March 29, 2024, the Minister of Information and Communications issued Circular No. 02/2024/TT-BTTTT: Regulating the List of potentially unsafe products and goods under the management responsibility of the Government. Ministry of Information and Communications, effective from May 15, 2024.
Circular No. 04/2023/TT-BTTTT dated May 31, 2023: regulating the List of potentially unsafe products and goods under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Information and Communications and Circular No. 10 /2023/TT-BTTTT dated September 5, 2023 regulations on partial/full implementation of a number of technical regulations in Circular No. 04/2023/TT-BTTTT dated May 31, 2023 no longer effective from the effective date of this Circular.
Some points to note in Circular 02/2024/TT-BTTTT
1. Some QCVN stop mandatory application of technical requirements in extreme/critical conditions until June 30, 2025: QCVN 117:2020/BTTTT, QCVN 117:2023/BTTTT, QCVN 127:2021 /BTTTT, QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT, QCVN 41:2016/BTTTT, QCVN 16:2018/BTTTT, QCVN 128:2021/BTTTT, QCVN 54:2020/BTTTT, QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT,...
2. For QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT: in case products and goods use a voltage converter (adapter), if the voltage converter is included, test QCVN 132:2022/BTTT for the product, Goods come with a voltage converter; If the voltage converter is not included, test QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT for products and goods that do not come with a voltage converter.
3. Exemption from certification of conformity for some cases of self-use import - maximum import of 3 (three) products and goods for each category in the shipment. Products and goods with operating bandwidth and technical specifications that meet the conditions according to Circular 08/2021/TT-BTTTT dated October 14, 2021.
4. Approval to use Chassis's test results to declare conformity according to QCVN 63:2020/BTTTT with some additional document requirements.
