2. Application roadmap
From January 1, 2026, electrical and electronic products specified in Appendix I of QCVN...:2022/BCT when imported and produced domestically must meet the requirements specified in Section 2 of the Regulations. Technical regulations - Allowable content limits of some toxic chemicals in electrical and electronic products must meet the technical requirements specified in Table 1, QCVN...:2022/BCT before circulation on the market.
3. Method of certification of conformity:
3.1 Domestic production:
- Method 5: Test typical samples and evaluate the production process
- Method 7: Testing and evaluating batches of products and goods
3.2 For imported products
- Method 1: Testing typical samples
- Method 5: Test typical samples and evaluate the production process
4. Test:
Conducted by a testing organization registered to operate under the provisions of Decree No. 107/2016/ND-CP, Decree No. 154/2018/ND-CP or recognized under the provisions of Circular No. 27/ 2007/TT-BKHCN.
5. Conformity mark and Certificate validity
Validity of Certificate: 3 years
The conformity mark is the CR mark according to Circular No. 28/2012/TT-BKHCN.
6. Applicable product categories:
- Large household appliances: refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, air conditioner...
- Small household appliances: oven, vacuum cleaner...
- Information and communications technology equipment: computers, phones, central processing units, fax machines...
- Consumer equipment and solar panels: radio, music player, television...
- Lighting equipment: fluorescent lights, LED lights...
- Electrical and electronic tools: sewing machines, drills and other equipment and hand tools...
- Toys, entertainment and sports equipment: Car racing sets, Electric trains,...
- Medical equipment: Cardiovascular equipment, medical freezers,...
