On the market today, most household appliances are labeled with energy labels regulated and certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade's statistics, the mandatory labeling program is implemented, nearly 90% of household appliances have been labeled. The program removes about 45 million incandescent light bulbs from the market, improving the performance of six popular power consumption products including transformers, air conditioners, rice cookers, fans, fluorescent tubes, CFLs; of which air conditioners use increased by 13% annually, saving about 100 million kWh.

Currently, in addition to the Confirmation mark and Compairing mark, there are also several high-performance products in the market, that exceed the proposed TCVN standards. These pioneering products are certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the highest performance labels in the voluntary form of manufacturers.

Each level is represented by the number of stars printed on the label. From one star to five stars, energy efficiency levels vary. The five-star label represents the best level of efficiency to provide consumers with information about the energy efficiency of this vehicle or equipment compared to other vehicles and equipment of the same type on the market, helping consumers Consumers can choose vehicles and equipment with more economical energy consumption.

3. Highest energy efficiency label
Highest energy efficiency label
The highest energy efficiency label appeared on the market from 2020 through the “Highest Energy Efficiency Award” program. This is the label applied to vehicles and equipment with the highest energy efficiency on the market. The highest energy efficiency label helps consumers identify products with outstanding energy savings (above 5 stars according to TCVN).

The highest energy efficiency label is issued with a QR code when circulating products and goods on the market. With the QRcode application, consumers can easily look up using smart devices. Information displayed when looking up the QRcode application includes: Capacity, energy efficiency, testing units, along with technical specifications and suggestions for reasonable, energy-saving product use. quantity.
